CDBaby.com: Quick thoughts

I have 2 albums distributed through CDBaby, and my experience so far has been somewhat less than stellar to be honest. They say they distribute to some 30+ digital distributors, but more than a year after the initial release my CD has only arrived in 8 stores. They do cover the most important ones like Amazon and iTunes, but the one that’s bugging me the most is Spotify.. It seems like they have now forgotten my release as the distributor list hasn’t updated in many months.

I really wanted my albums on Spotify because it is free and has a huge market in parts of Europe, making it double-easy to promote my music. I’ll have to get the albums distributed with something like tunecore.com or similar to get them on Spotify it looks like.
